Ayrshire Business Connections was originally developed in March 2004 by Ayrshire Electronic Community (AEC), part of East Ayrshire Council, together with North Ayrshire Council's Business Services. The website is free and is dedicated to establishing a localised business database providing company information in a user friendly format for browsers to search. It’s where information is exchanged, business leads are passed on, notice boards can be read, deals can be organised.

But it’s more than that.

You can tell the local area, and the world, what your business is all about; find useful links to websites, yours and other peoples; get current information from the council, other large organisations, and all their connections.

And it’s all 24 x 7.

You keep your details up to date, tell the local area what’s new now, post up your special offers, special deals, excess stock, whatever. And do it when it suits you. No waiting for other people or organisations. Just do it – now. Because customers are going to look at it – now.

And that’s only the first stage.
